Think! Zombies! (2016)

For this project I was asked to come onboard a winning pitch as the Director by the pitch's writer.
Through our Film Production course we were entered into the Kodak 16mm Student Commercial Competition 2016 against other schools, including the National Film and Television School.
The brief, created by Think!, revolved around the idea that technology had led to a steep rise in the number of driver/pedestrian casualties and I really loved the idea put forward about technology creating zombies.
Inspired by films like "The Shining" and old Hammer Horror films, we wanted to play on old family values and the interruption to them that technology has had.
The film was screened at the Regent Street Cinema and while we did not win any prizes, other candidates complemented us on a pitch that was so different and interesting compared to the others.
